What does it cost to list?
Founding vendors pay zero listing fees. We only earn a small commission when you get paid for a confirmed booking. If you don't earn, we don't earn.
How fast do I get paid?
Deposits are held in escrow from the moment a client books. Balances release to you within 48 hours of event completion, straight to your bank account.
Who do I compete with on the platform?
We're onboarding a curated set of Cape Town vendors first. We're not chasing volume. We'd rather have 100 vendors who consistently deliver than 10,000 who don't.
What categories are you onboarding right now?
Venues, catering, cakes and desserts, florists, photographers and videographers, DJs and live music, decor and styling, hair and makeup. If you serve milestone events, we probably want you.
What happens if a client cancels?
You set your own cancellation policy when you list. Our booking flow enforces it automatically, so you're protected on deposits and cancellation fees.
What about liability and insurance cover?
We're building embedded insurance into every booking — public liability, equipment cover, and cancellation cover. It's launching shortly after the platform goes live, underwritten by leading South African insurers. As a founding vendor, you'll be first to access it.
Can I still work with clients outside Eventfuly?
Of course. You keep your own website, socials and direct clients. Eventfuly is just one more (hopefully your best) channel.
When can I actually book something?
We're onboarding vendors through the first 30 days, then opening bookings. Join the waitlist and we'll tell you the moment you can plan your first event on Eventfuly.
What kind of events does Eventfuly cover?
Milestone moments — weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, engagements, baby showers. If it's worth celebrating, we're building for it.
Is my money safe?
Yes. Every booking is protected by escrow. Your deposit is held safely and only released to the vendor once your event is successfully delivered.
Will my event be insured?
Event insurance is coming soon as a built-in option on every booking. Cover will include public liability, vendor equipment damage, and cancellation protection. Details, terms and pricing will be confirmed ahead of launch.
Where does Eventfuly work?
Cape Town at launch. We're focused on doing one city properly before expanding across South Africa.
